This is the Summer camp for the Great Smoky Mountains Council. Many events are held at this camp throughout the year. I have acted as Adult staff and camper for many events at the facility. It is an excellent camp for boys to get away from urban and electronics and experience the woods.
Our son has started off as a camper @ Camp Buck Toms many years ago. Then as soon as he was old enough to work there he taught the young Scout's in The Dan Beard Program for 2 Summers. This year we are EXTREMELY PROUD that he will be working there as an Eagle Scout!!! Wonderful Camp and a great staff! So many fun memories for the boy's to always cherish and new friends to met! And of course work on and earn all those Merit Badges!!!
Haven't been there in years can't wait to go again as an adult leader this time
Pretty good stuff. Very great adirondacks, though I slept in a hammock. (That I actually bought at one of their stores for a reasonable price)
