We found a dog at ozone Trail that almost got hit by cars because it was running in and out of the road. So we picked him up then search for the closest dog shelter. We got to Roane County Animal Shelter and they told us to put him in the fenced in area and that there was fresh water in there that they changed that morning. I looked at the water, which was held in a small plastic kiddy pool. The water and the pool was green colored for being stagment. Then they told us we needed to get her to come Cumberland County Animal Shelter. They looked it up for us and wrote down the address. It was 40 minutes from their Animal Shelter. When we finally arrived to the Cumberland animal shelter we found out that they are closed on Wednesdays. Wish Roane county animal shelter would have told us that before the 40 minute drive. After all that we finally found the owners 3 hours later. Not to mention we are from out of town on vacation. Thanks for being assholes Roane County animal shelter!
